Latest newsNHS care back to the Stepps community Since the practice was taken over in 2008, the principle dentists, Nina Holmes and Colin Freer, have continued to care for all registered patients on a private basis. We are now thrilled to announce the reintroduction of NHS care for all patients.
In March 2010 Stepps Ahead Dental Care became a recognised vocational training practice. This allows recent graduates to work with approved dentists in an environment that meets the highest standards in dental care.
Our dentist, Ciarán Ferris graduated in 2010 from Dundee Dental Hospital and began working with us in Stepps in August of that year. She is now able to offer a high standard of dentistry to all patients looking for treatment under the NHS. This service is currently available on Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 5pm, however we are hoping to extend this in the future.
We would also like to clarify that although the dentist may change as they complete their training with us, we will always offer the service of NHS dental care to patients that have registered. Please get in touch if you have any questions about this service or would like to register with the practice.
